Karl’s Jewelry was started in 1939 by the Hofstetter family in Middlefield, Ohio. Karl’s grew to 5 stores in the 1970’s serving NE Ohio. Other locations included: Chardon, Geneva, Ashtabula, and Kent, Ohio. As the internet evolved between 2000 and 2020 Karl’s was able to scale back to a more central location in Middlefield making use of email, social media, and online marketing to continue to provide high quality personalized service to Northeast Ohio.
